Children’s weekend ‘Koinobori’

Koinobori means children’s day, but also refers to the special windsocks in the shape of a carp, which will be hung that day. It’s symbolizes hope, strength and a good future for the children. It will therefore be a special moment in the Japanese Garden, where children will be central, though their parents of course equally welcome.

On May 6, the Japanese Garden will work with several youth organizations to give the children's weekend new impetus. On May 7, the children can try out all sorts of activities throughout the garden. Check our website and Facebook page for further updates!
