Chrysanthemum Festival

Chrysanthemum Festival

chrysantenfestival; bolchrysant; belgian mums

Chrysanthemums remind us of funerals or commemorations of the dead  in the cemetery, but in the Far East, these flowers represent happiness. The Chrysanthemum or Kiku is even the symbol of the Japanese emperor! An excellent reason for us to organize a festival or matsuri around this surprisingly versatile flower and to turn the Garden into a special eye-catcher.
