Obon Matsuri (nocturne)
Nocturne in the Japanese Garden
During Obon matsuri, we honor the dead, and in Japan this is an annual festivity.
The atmosphere of lanterns and festive ornaments decorate the Japanese Garden during a nocturne. At this festival, you will experience the Japanese Garden from a completely different view, including an evening market. You can also be carried away by fascinating Bondance demonstrations or the taiko performances.
Also exciting: The wishes our guests made during the Tanabata festival, will be burned this evening. This way, the wishes will be sent to the gods so they will come true.
